Join us Saturday, Oct 19th for a full day of hands-on, informative sessions on an array of technical theatre topics ranging from introductory to expert. The Expo will take place at Prince George's Community College in conjunction with MTEA. Details and registration info upcoming.


This event is planned and curated for anyone with an interest in technical theatre. This event welcomes:


  • Students and educators from middle school to the university level.
  • Technicians from local community and professional theatres.
  • Businesses/Professionals looking to engage with the Mid-Atlantic theatre community.

USITT Student (HS/Univ) Dues: $5

USITT Chesapeake Dues: $25

USITT Chesapeake is calling for presenters on a range of technical theatre topics that cover all fields costume, scenic, technical direction, props, lighting, sound, projection, stage/production management, and ranges of ability from introductory to expert.


Presenters are encouraged to have hands-on sessions at 60 minutes in length. Expect to be available for the entirety of the conference at Randolph Macon. Lunch will be provided to presenters.
